A handmade gift from a friend

Hello Friends,
One of my most fabulous customers who happens to be one of my most fabulous friends made me this adorable project.
Michelle punched out lots of circles using the 2 1/4″ circle punch, did some magic, added a pin in the center and glued them to a styrofoam ball.
I just love it.  Michelle gave me a great idea – a way to use Designer Series Paper.  I am going to make one and will post it once it is done.
Thanks Michelle – Love it – and you of course 🙂

Season of Friendship

Hello Friends,
Remember the Valentine’s Card I made using the Season of Friendship stamp set? – click here to see it!
I am always excited to see a creation using this set as I am amazed at its many different uses.  One of my SAMee’s who happens to be a great friend – Vicky – made this beautiful project.  I love decorating my home with creations made using Stampin’ Up!s fabulous products.  It was hard for me to decide where to put this one.  Part of me wanted to display it on my desk at work and the other part wanted me to keep it at home.  The latter part won 🙂 I put it in my stamp room so I could look at it often seeing as I spend so much of my time in there.
What a wonderful way to use this set.  I absolutely love this gift and will treasure it always just as I do my friendship with Vicky 🙂

Springtime Vintage Wreath

Hello Friends,
Today has been the first day I have been in my stamp room all week.  This toothache I have had has just made me so very miserable.  My body was grateful for a chance to rest and I must admit it did feel good to just sit/lay/stand and watch movies.
With the launch of the Holiday Mini, Stampin’ Up! brought us fabulous fabric.  With the launch of the Occasions Mini on January 4th, you will find more fabulous fabric.  The wreath shown above was made using the new “Springtime Vintage” Love it 🙂  I always look forward to Spring, so making this wreath has got my day off to a good start.

Home Decor – Believe

Hello Friends,
Last night I was invited to go to one of my friends and SAMee’s downline meeting.  Vicky wanted me to share with her team what I do at my workshops.  I can demonstrate a workshop in 30 minutes and that is exactly what I did.  We had time for questions afterward.
Before the meeting, Vicky took me to ‘A Little Taste of Britain’ for REAL fish and chips.  I even had mushy peas and a can of vimto.  Ahhhhh!  It was so awesome.  It really ‘took me back to England’.  The owners are wonderful people and they even had a TV showing English shows.  It was decorated with pictures of the Queen and Big Ben and the London Bridge among many others.  I stocked up on chocolate and goodies.  I simply cannot wait to go back.
Today’s project was made by Vicky.  This was a ‘Thank You’ for going to the meeting.  What a NICE Thank You.  I made a compliment about how wonderful it was and Vicky said she was glad as she had made it for me.  So cute!
Here are some cards made by her downline.  They were very gracious giving them to me.

Home Decor Frame

Hello Friends,

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  Here in Utah, it has been a gorgeous day.  My friend Deb came over and we had a fun time chatting and stampin’.  Deb wasn’t able to make the Scrapbook Class or Card Class this month so we had some one on one time.  It was great.

Before Deb came over, I made this ‘Home Decor’.  I bought the frame from the craft store.  I used the mat that was already in the frame and stamped the ‘holly’ from the ‘Cold Play’ stamp set using Always Artichoke Classic Ink and using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker for the berry. Click here to see details of my Marker Club.

I then made the trim using the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and the Crochet Trim Chantilly.
I punched out the ornament from the ‘Contempo Chiristmas’ Stamp Set using the Ornament Punch. Next, I added some bling – fabulous Rhinestones and adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I L-O-V-E the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper.  I used part of one of the sheets for the mail focal of the frame.

Very quick, very easy and fabulous cost 🙂
