Pals Blog Hop – Retirement Party
Thank you for joining us for the May Pals Blog Hop and our annual retirement party! It’s time to say goodbye to stamps and accessories that will not be available in the new 2013-14 Stampin’ Up! catalog. Although it’s always sad to see wonderful products retire, it is exciting to think about all of the new products that will soon be available. So enjoy the farewell tour for our favorite retiring products – and remember you have until June 3rd to order from the retiring product lists.
You should have just left stop number 16 on the Pals Hop - Kim Czenszak at LiveLoveStamp If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
I created this WISH LIST (cos I need one LOL) using a half sheet (8 1/2×11) of Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I layered it with a piece of Floral District Designer Series Paper – my favorite DSP in the catalog which will be retiring.
I used the “Apothecary Framelits” and my Big Shot to cut out the pieces to decorate the book using Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight card stock – all coordinating colors. I ran the Tangerine Tango card stock through the Big Shot using the “Square Lattice” Embossing Folder. I stamped the “M” in Rich Razzleberry Ink using the Broadsheet Alphabet stamp set - retiring and wrapped a piece of Tangerine Tango dotted scallop ribbon which is also retiring around the ‘book’. I am just loving ‘Bright’ colors at the moment. They make me happy!
Everyone will need a wish list for the upcoming catalog which begins on May 31 at noon MST. It is absolutely AMAZING. E-mail me at maxine@stamptothemax.com if you would like me to mail you a catalog. If you have a Demonstrator you currently order from, please contact them directly.

Stamp to the MAX! Blog Hop – Mothers and Fathers Day cards
Hello Friends,
Welcome to our Stamp to the MAX blog hop for May. We were asked to showcase projects for Mothers and/or Fathers day.
These are the cards we made at our ‘Stampin’ Day’ here at work. It is so fun to work at a place that you love. Stamped matching envelopes is really a great way to go when wanting to ‘dress’ up a card. Only takes a few seconds to do so and makes such a difference.

Bloomin’ Bouquet Project Kit
Hello Friends,
Mother’s Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There’s no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet. As if that weren’t enough, the kit contains a “baker’s dozen”! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone special. Give it to someone you wouldn’t normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you’d like to give a little “thank you” to.
Available starting April 29 (after 3pm MST), while supplies last.
Kit contents:
- 2 sheets of preprinted and precut flowers on 12″ X 12″ cardstock; makes 13 flowers using Pool Party, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry
- 13 Vintage Faceted Buttons
- 13 green floral wire stems
Adhesive not included. (Glue gun recommended.)

Stampin’ Up! Storage and a FREE catalog
Hello Friends,
I am so excited about the new catalog beginning May 31 at noon! I always look forward to using new product and creating with all the amazing things that come out in the crafting world. One of the reasons I switched over from ‘Wood mount’ to ‘clear mount’ stamps was the fabulous cases which has made my stamp storage look so much more organized and makes finding a stamp set so much easier. Starting May 31, we will be able to order stamp sets in wood mount but with the amazing new cases ! (HUGE SMILE) Not only will you be able to use these for stamp storage but for many other ways to store your craftin’ goodies.
Check out the video for some ways to use them. Leave a comment with your ideas of what you would use these for – other than stamps of course! I will draw a name and send you some blog candy if you are the lucky winner !
Speaking of the new catalog!!! Existing customers will receive a FREE catalog from me. If you would like a FREE catalog – all you have to do is place an online order with me and I will be sure you receive a catalog delivered to your door. Oh Hello
Hello Friends,
Say goodbye to Baja Breeze who happens to be Early Espresso’s best friend (Smile)!
With news of the Color Refresh came the sadness knowing that Baja Breeze will be leaving us. This was one of my very favorite colors so it really is a sad time for me. I am very pleased to see some of our previous ‘In Colors’ returning to the color palette.

Pals Blog Hop – Celebrate Earth Day
Hello Friends,
Thank you for joining us for the April Pals Blog Hop! To celebrate Earth Day, the April blog hop features new cards and projects that capture the essence of Earth Day through colors and images and/or use recycled or reused elements. We hope you are ready for some fun and creative ideas.
You should have just left stop number 22 on the Pals Hop – Susan Itell at Simple Stampin’.( Susan is a very talented stamper and I know you will have seen a great project today.) If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
Crumb Cake? Can you ever get tired of Crumb Cake – I am talking about card stock here? <grin> Crumb Cake has to be one of my all time favorite Stampin’ Up! colors.
Did you know the ‘Lovely as a Tree’ stamp set is the longest ‘serving’ stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! catalog? I wonder if it will retire this year – or stick around? I stamped the tree image on to the card stock using Crumb Cake Classic Ink. Guess what? I took out my ‘Watercolor Wonder Crayons’. I used Garden Green and Crumb Cake crayons with blender pens. I stamped the “hey there friend” sentiment from the My Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit with Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad. The cute heart in the tree was punched out of Cherry Cobbler card stock (another favorite of mine) using the small heart punch.
Finally – my favorite embellishment of all time — Ribbon. I used a piece of Natural 7/16″ Trim (Spring Catalog) along with a small piece of Victoria Lace. I cut one of the flowers from the 5/8″ Flower Trim and adhered it with a glue dot.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the flower trim and am really hoping it will be in the new catalog starting in June.
I wanted to create a card that was simple and duplicatable. I think I got it!
Trees, glorious trees! With a variety of trees to choose from, the Lovely As a Tree set offers so many options. Stamp a solitary tree or stamp an image multiple times to create your own forest.
Wood Mount – #115026 $27.95
Clear Mount – #127793 $19.95
